Cast Glass Artistry
SpiroLyon Glass was founded by Jacqueline Spiro and Lee Lyon, glass artists who have been working with hot glass since 1989. Many of the unique glass pieces they produce are large, thick cast glass panels for use as interior and exterior decorative and architectural elements. These are normally between one and four inches thick and a single panel may be as large as four feet by four feet. Individual panels are set into a steel or wooden framework so that there is no limit to the size or shape of the final installation. Each panel mates with adjacent panels to form unique images that range from abstract motifs to story-like custom glass designs.
Spiro Lyon Glass has produced architectural commissions including cast glass walls, doors, windows, furniture, and free standing sculpture for private homes, public spaces, and corporate interiors.
